When the portal to a new world opens, there are demons inside. Kim Tae-ri’s (Kim San-Young) self-destructive obsession with one of these demons leads him to meet Yoo Hae-sung (Yeom Jung-Se), who sees the demon that has possessed him. Together, they attempt to uncover the mystery behind mysterious deaths associated with the five sacred items. Kum San-Young works part-time and studies to become a civil servant during the day, but one day, she gets some articles left by her deceased father.
Yeom hae sang comes from a long history. He is a professor of Korean folklore at the university. He has been able to see demons since he was a kid. He saw his mother murdered by a demon before his eyes. Yeom hae sang meets Ku san young and faces the demon that killed his mother.
