More About Saw 2:

A police informant, Michael Marks, awakens with a spiked mask encircled around his neck and a videotape informing him of a one-minute window in which he must retrieve a key concealed behind the right eye. However, he is unable to endure the pain of removing the key from his scalp, and is killed as the mask closes around his head. Shortly after Michael’s body is discovered, Detective Allison Kerry calls his employer, detective Eric Matthews, to the scene of the crime. The latter had discovered a message addressed to him from the jigsaw killer.

Although Eric initially declines to join the investigation, he quickly locates Jigsaw’s base of operations at the dilapidated Wilson Steel Plant, and joins Detective Kerry and Corporal Daniel Rigg in a raid with a reinforced SWAT team. Upon entering the plant, the team found John Kramer, who had been weakened by his incurable cancer.
