More About Supernatural Season 9:

Right after the angels are destroyed by the Scribe, Metatron, Sam goes into a coma due to the trials to shut the gates of hell and nearly dies. Castiel is unable to help him (he has lost his Grace) so Dean seeks the help of another angel, this one named Ezekiel. The only way to save him from his injuries is to own him, which Dean accepts and helps Ezekiel persuade Sam to give his permission against his will.

Together, the three of them (with Kevin as their prisoner and Crowley as their leader) try to find a way to bring the angels back to heaven. They also have to deal with the Knight of Hell (Abaddon) who is trying to take over Hell in Crowley’s absence and impose her rule of Hell on the world. Also, a new human Castiel has to keep running from thousands of angels that blame him for his failures, many of which are now led by the likes of Bartholomew, Malachi, and others who are trying to bring them back to heaven under their leadership.
