Mavis Beaumont is a recently single black woman trying to get her life back on track after “putting all my eggs in one man’s basket”. She is a struggling stylist who is about to face some challenges as she tries to pull herself back together. With the help of her friends and family, she struggles to survive and overcome her issues, both professionally and romantically, with her “body positive attitude, a cute v-neck and a bit of lip-gloss”.
