More About The Island:

Seven years prior, Mark had left the island he had grown up on when he was unable to cope with the grief of the death of his newborn baby. Now, Mark had established a successful career in the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) with the help of his wise and resourceful partner Phil.

Upon learning that a similar tragedy had taken place on the island once more, Mark returned home. On the island, he comforted his mother as she prepared to bury his infant brother. Mark then turned his attention to apprehending the perpetrator of the crime.
